Dilogg is not a typical blog or social site. Instead, it combines the format of a blog with the ability to communicate with your friends on an individual basis - privately. Dilogg makes it easy to share media from the internet with someone and converse about it.
Why should I use Dilogg?
Like we've mentioned before - Dilogg is different. We think that even if you use other social sites, Dilogg will give you a fresh approach to keeping in touch with your friends. It's easy and free to register, so give it a shot! If you never come back, well... we'll miss you.
What's with the name "Dilogg"?
The name implies a two-person blog: "Di" (two) and "logg" (as in "blog"). Dilogg is pronounced "DIE log" (sounds like "dialog"), which references the conversational aspects of it.
What do I need in order to use Dilogg?
All you need is an internet connection (looks like you've got that), an email address, and an up-to-date web browser. Visit our registration page to create an account and then use the code we send to your email to activate your account. We highly recommend updating your web browser to the latest version to ensure that all of the features of Dilogg work well for you!
"Such and such" isn't working. What do I do?
The first thing to do is make sure that your web browser is up-to-date. Dilogg is "standards compliant", meaning that it should work with all of the leading browsers. For all of the features to work, however, ensure that cookies and JavaScript are enabled.
When I open a video link, the video never appears.
If you have ad blocking software running, it may prevent the video object from appearing. Please note: if your internet connection is slow, it may just take a while for the object to load.
How can I send someone a picture?
The image must be uploaded to the internet before you can link to it using Dilogg. There are many free image hosts available. The hosting site will provide you with a "url" to each picture, which can be used in Dilogg to link to that image.
How do I attach a video?
Dilogg makes it easy to insert videos into your posts and comments. Websites that host videos provide some code to "embed" the video. Simply paste this code into Dilogg's video links.
Can I correct a typo, or update a post?
Yes! Anything that you write can be edited by clicking the "pencil" icon that appears when you hover your mouse over the content you'd like to edit. However, once something you've written has been read by the recipient, it is no longer editable.
